Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, with a central Heer style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika on a hollow background, above a crossed bayonet and stick grenade, the reverse with a crimped barrel hinge and vertical pinback, unmarked, measuring 42. 78 mm (w) x 53. 43 mm (h), weighing 23. 3 grams, the catch is missing, in overall near extremely fine condition.
