Germany, Imperial. An 1870 Iron Cross Ii Class, With 25Th Jubilee Clasp United Republic of White metal cross pattée with(Eisernes Kreuz 1870 II. Klasse mit Jubilumsspange 1895). Reinstituted 19 July 1870. (1895 issue). Constructed of iron and silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Patte with a blackened magnetic iron core within a ribbed silver frame, the obverse with a central initial W, the six oclock arm with a reinstitution date of 1870, the twelve oclock arm with a royal crown, the reverse with three central oak
