It shares the fate of many distilleries in Scotland, having had to close its doors more than once. Production only resumed in 2008, and single malt whisky was reintroduced to the market in 2012. Glenglassaugh Torfa matured for an unspecified period in ex bourbon casks. Bottled at a robust 50% ABV, without added coloring, and non chill filtered. Aroma: Spicy peat smoke, hearty
